How is it possible to syncronize the sound with the image? What's a sync camera?

You record the images on a camera,
and you record the sound on a tape drive.
The trouble is that the motor in the camera will run at a slightly different speed to the motor in the tape recorder. This means that the sound will drift away from the images, and lip synching (and other sounds) will drift.
So you need a camera and a tape recorder that run at the same speed. A sync camera has a thing called a 'crystal motor' in it. Which is very precise, and you can match it to a sound recorder that has a 'crystal motor', exactly.
